Climbing facilities

Quality and safety - the most important thing is the frame and that’s why Gatowalls climbing walls are supported by a stable, steel (or steel-wood) structure, designed by our engineer in accordance with current building and safety standards (e.g. EN 12572), using the materials with required properties: steel - S235 or S235 JR, wood - C24.

Price - it varies depending on the size and type of construction, and those are also affected by the physical condition of the building, or the absence of the building (mobile and outdoor climbing walls), and by the complexity of climbing surfaces - their shape and overhang. Another significant factor influencing the price is the construction site location (country/continent), which may generate additional costs of transport and accommodation for our employees. Prices for the least complex climbing wall start from 700 PLN net/m2 and do not include climbing holds nor safety equipment.

Climbing surface technologies - climbing panels can be based on plywood or laminate. Classic climbing surfaces made of plywood are a more economical option which gives various possibilities of designing climbing wall of different sizes and shapes. This type of panels is mainly used for indoor climbing walls and for competition walls. GRP laminate panels are a more expensive option which has no design limits - due to the plasticity of the material it allows us to reproduce many patterns and shapes, including e.g. company logo. A great advantage of GRP panels is their resistance to weather conditions, which makes them the most recommended surface for all kind of external climbing walls.

Adventure parks

The number of obstacles has a decisive influence on the cost of adventure parks and fun parks for children. Another important factor is the location and type of park:

On trees - subtly composed into the natural environment without damaging the trees. The cheapest option which doesn’t require a building permit. If you have a forest stand at your disposal and want to take advantage of it, you should consult a dendrologist who will determine the trees health status and stability, and identify those with minimum diameter at the height where the platforms of the adventure park would be located is 30 cm - only those trees you will be able to use. This option should take into account the fact of annual growth of trees, which may involve periodic adjustments to the installation of the platforms and obstacles.

Modular - usually hexagonal, aesthetic and symmetrical shape makes this kind of adventure park one of the most visually attractive and one of the cheapest options. Another advantage of the modular park is that it saves space - you can place a lot of obstacles on a small area. This type of park is perfect for both indoor and outdoor locations. It’s the best choice for hotels, resorts, shopping malls etc.

On poles - a stable structure with a wide range of solutions for each of the obstacles (in terms of height, assembly, length - at the stage of both designing and choosing the attractions). We leave it up to the investor to choose the material for the support poles: wood or steel. This option is more expensive than the others and requires a building permit and soil analysis in the context of the resistance to the tensioning forces of the extraction systems for the poles and adventure park obstacles (recommended).
